The Center for Governmental Studies employs an interdisciplinary, full-time professional staff of more than 35 people with doctoral and masters' degrees in fields such as public administration, public policy, geography, history, business, economic development, computer science, mathematics, and statistics. Assembled from within CGS and other departments at NIU, as well as a growing number of affiliate organizations with specialized expertise, interdisciplinary teams work directly with governmental and community decision-makers.
